A little more about how I got into this business...

I worked in Florida in a psychiatric hospital alongside mental health professionals as a mental health technician, I later on moved to central Alaska (Army wife here!) and worked in residential treatment for youth for 3 years. During those 3 or so years I moved into a residential school position within that same facility as a special education aide, helping kids with learning disabilities and IEP's manage their behaviors during school while simultaneously helping them with their school work itself. It was a very rewarding and emotionally taxing job to say the least.

When our time was up in Alaska we made our way back down south to Louisiana and then Covid hit. I struggled to find a job during that time and started to attend Oregon State University. Fast forward to 2021 my very good friend introduced me to virtual assistant work and Coastal Collaborative LLC was formed in beautiful Washington State!
