My journey into this field began with my work in Florida, where I served as a Mental Health Technician in a psychiatric hospital, collaborating closely with mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care. After relocating to central Alaska, I spent three years working in residential treatment for youth, where I gained valuable experience in managing challenging behaviors and supporting the emotional well-being of adolescents. During this time, I transitioned into a position as a Special Education Aide at a residential school within the same facility. There, I worked directly with students who had learning disabilities and IEPs, helping them manage their behaviors while also providing academic support. This role was both incredibly rewarding and emotionally demanding.

When my time in Alaska concluded, I relocated to Louisiana, where I faced challenges in securing employment due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this period, I pursued further education at Oregon State University. In 2021, a close friend introduced me to working virtually, leading to the creation of Coastal Collaborative LLC in the beautiful state of Washington. This transition allowed me to combine my diverse background in mental health and education with my passion for supporting businesses and entrepreneurs.
